Artistic Director wins an Award
Denise Armstrong won an Education Award at the International Women's day in Kensington, Liverpool last Saturday 8th March. Congratulations to Dense!

Update Projects
Deaf Life Liverpool: The DVD editing is completed and we are now waiting to publish. There will be a launch soon - watch this space!

Young Roots: The project is now completed and was successful. There were two performances, one at the Green Room in Manchester, and the other at the Pacific Road Arts Centre in Birkenhead. Well done to all four young choreographers, Kaylee Bonnon, Fenfen Huang, Jenny Myatt and Rebecca-Anne Withey!

Blackpool Performance
The show at the Globe Theatre in Blackpool in last Friday 7th March included performances from Taciturn Dance Company and a Community performance by St Mary's Catholic School, as well as our own "Men and Demons". Thank you to Taciturn Dance Company for their support, and Congratulations to St Mary's for their excellent show. Once again a big thank you to Jacqueline Greaves for her support over the last few months.

Harrow Disability Arts Festival 07
Common Ground provided Sign Dance workshop at one of school in North London. Denise received positive feedback from the participants and the organiser, and the school is hoping to book us again in the future.

Common Ground visits Sevilla, Spain
Festival Escena Mobile 2008 invited Common Ground to perform two shows, Breaker and Men & Demons next month - April 22nd to 24th in Sevilla. Further news on this trip will be reported in the next update.

Common Ground is currently seeking to appoint 4 to 6 new members to its Board of Trustees. We would particularly like to hear from anyone with skills or experience in the following areas: Marketing, Press / Public Relations, Finance, Legal, Human resources, Sales/ Trading, Information Technology and Training / Education.
